I completed The Fence Viewing, and am finishing up edits, which is my least favorite part. It’s set in Minnesota, where I grew up and is about a retired sheriff who has one more murder to solve. Below is the book synopsis. I hope you enjoy reading it.

The Fence Viewing - Synopsis

When retired County Sheriff, Bud Dawson is selected to a three-man committee to conduct a fence viewing for two disgruntled land owners, the distraction is welcome, at first.  But when he discovers a girl’s body while doing some preliminary work near the two properties, Bud is immediately thrown back into old habits he thought to be long retired.

With his less-than-impressive nephew as the current sheriff, Bud cautiously slips his requested assistance and years of experience into working the homicide. Still dealing with the death of his wife the previous winter, Bud navigates his investigation through the rural Minnesota town with its tight-lipped predispositions and coarsely protective loyalties.
