Born in Tacoma, Washington, at the age of nine my family and I moved to Sandstone, Minnesota. I grew up in the small Midwest town until moving back to Tacoma at the age of twenty and then to Oregon in 2000.
I met and married Michelle McColly, a local Oregonian from Silverton. We presently reside in West Salem.
Imagination is a gift, regardless the amount of trouble it has gotten me in. Writing fiction allows me the advantage to become anyone or anything. And I get to do things normally restrained by logic, understanding, physical attributes, money, or even time as we know it. I can be rude, insightful, alluring, or mysterious and make the reader wonder how much is real and how much is just in my head.
And I thoroughly enjoy keeping the reader guessing.
